United States Province

The United States Province was founded as a compilation of Sisters from the original Presentation groups in Ireland and Pakistan who had opened houses in the States over many years.

In 2013 the Congregation of Presentation Sisters, Fargo, North Dakota, fused with the Union of Presentation Sisters, they subsequently joined with the sisters in the US to form a new Province.

Currently, 89 Sisters are serving in seventeen communities in eight states stretching across the  United States, these include:  Texas, Alabama, Arizona, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Minnesota .

Our Province also boasts of a vibrant Associate Program with groups of wonderful lay persons who love and follow the charism of Nano Nagle.

Through education and empowerment we endeavor to bring relief to the exploited. We collaborate with others in witnessing the gospel challenge to make visible the values of human dignity, freedom, and justice among all peoples, especially the powerless and those made poor.

As vowed women with listening, contemplative hearts, guided by the Holy Spirit, we contribute to the renewal of the church and the vitality of her mission.
