Fifteen students from the Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Jammu, took part in the historic Indian International Model United Nations held from 15- 17 August 2016 in NEW YORK, USA. There were hundred delegates from different schools of India as well as delegates from Colombo and Bahrain who participated in this conference. It was a great honour to unfurl the Indian Flag in the United Nations Headquarters.

The President, Ms Kashvi Jaggi, welcomed the audience. During his address Mr. Kaushik Basu, Senior Vice President, World Bank stressed the importance of leading an integrated life to help bring about change in society as youth power is a recognized force in the world today.

The founder of IIMUN, Mr. Rishabh Shah encouraged the students to believe in their innate potential and ability to overcome challenges. He emphasised the concept of soft power and how this can help establish India on the global front.

This enriching and a learning experience for the students would not have been possible without the support, guidance and prayers of our leadership team, Sisters in the community, staff members, generous and motivating parents.
