This event offers a valuable opportunity to explore and understand UN Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger and how this can be realised through practical actions at local level.

Speakers include Bobby McCormack from Developing Perspectives, a leading Irish education NGO, Cathriona Russell, assistant professor in theology and ethics,School of Religions, Peace Studies and Theology at Trinity College and Niamh Brennan, writer and workshop facilitator in the area of cosmology and spirituality.

Retreat Centre, Killenard, Co Laois, Ireland

There will also be contributions from The Jesuit Refugee Service, which works in the field of Education, Emergency Assistance, Health and Nutrition, Income-Generating Activities and Social Services as well as FoodCloud Hubs, which uses technology to rescue food from businesses and distribute it to charities across Ireland.
